Community guidelines

Ask away: No such thing as a “stupid question” around here. If you’re wondering about it, someone else probably is too. Your questions today become someone else’s solutions tomorrow.

Be helpful: Remember your posts might be referenced for years to come. The more detail and context you provide, the more valuable your contribution becomes to the next person with the same issue.

Stay on topic: Let’s keep discussions focused on bitcoin and Ark. Our admins may gently redirect conversations that wander too far off course.

Search first (but don’t stress): Try a quick search to see if your question’s been answered, but don’t worry too much about duplicates. We’d rather have you ask than remain stuck.

Respectful discussion: Disagreements? Absolutely fine—we lean towards being permissive of, er, the kind of robust debates bitcoin is famous for. Just avoid making things personal.

Keep it technical: This forum works best when discussions center on code, protocols, and implementations rather than speculation or politics.

Be patient with admins: Our moderators are the same folks developing the protocol. They have day jobs building Ark, so remember to go easy on them!

A few technical tips

  • Use code blocks for sharing code snippets
  • Screenshots are helpful, but text is searchable
  • Include relevant version numbers when reporting issues
  • If you find a solution to your own problem, post it for others

Thank you for contributing to the Ark ecosystem. The questions you ask and the knowledge you share today will help shape the future of bitcoin scaling.

Happy building!
